TO ALL: NEWS FLASH !!! Iomega Hopes To Cut Ditto Drive Price To $99 In 2 Yrs SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones)--Iomega Corp. (IOMG) intends to lower the price of its Ditto external tape drive to $99 from $199 in 24 months to stimulate additional demand, Chief Executive Kim Edwards said. At the Hambrecht & Quist Inc. technology conference here, Edwards said the computer-storage company is looking at lower prices for its Jazz disk drive. He said the aim is to get the price for the external drive to $299 from $599 and the price of the internal drive to $199 from $499. He did not specify a time period for the reductions.
