Looks like we are going to ignore Posse Comitatus Act. Inter arma enim silent leges ("in time of war, the laws are silent"). (Cicero.) (Rehnquist says "all the laws but one", habeas corpus.) The President has plenary power under the Constitution in time of war. One of the reasons that Lincoln ticked so many people off -- and now Bush -- who's going to stop him when he commands the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines? Scary thought, but the Founding Fathers set it up that way. Remember this, all those who would vote for Hillary!
