Trinidad has two things: power and experience. For that matter, one might say the same thing of Mike Tyson, and yet he isn't nearly considered a lock in skill-similar fights the way many think that Trinidad is in this one(yes, I know it's an imperfect analogy...).

In fact, this thread is an anomaly, at least in terms of what I've heard from fight fans at work, in polls, etc. (though, I'd like to see what Vegas "says" at this point); Trinidad is being widely favored from all of what I've heard and some of what I've read.

Vargas is faster, has a tougher chin, fights well southpaw or righty, and has that hunger we keep speaking of. I put the fight squarely in his favor, noting that of power and experience, both can work decidedly against a fighter.

Speed, a proven chin, and versatility can't go wrong in too many ways.
And of hunger, which could lead to carelessness...I guess...I have nothing to say but that I believe that, for Vargas, it will be his doing, and Tito's undoing.

But, don't worry. Mosely will beat Vargas within 12 months.
