Leon - Regarding your question about the monthly access fee, I was told that it is divided three ways, with the bulk going to Iridium LLC and the gateway (in this case Iridium North America), with a much smaller portion to Motorola. My source would not provide exact figures, but would say that Motorola's portion was "small".
