Hi Doc. My reasoning is clear: if MATR had such a hot product - as the market thinks it does - then why did they negotiate what seems to be an appalingly naive deal. That's all. Either that or ZITL speculators are appalingly naive.

I've been involved with 3 start up companies. If you have as hot a product as MATR you don't give away 35% equity. Never. You borrow the money and do it youself. Investment bankers would be falling over themselves for a part of the action, esp. since MATR has been trading for some time. Then, when people are drooling you do an IPO unless you can get a better price from within the industry.

Come on, you know the difference between a biotech and software co. that is touted to have a "silver bullet." Phase One, Phase Two etc etc. (by that time we're in the year 2001). If software cos. had to wait 1/4 that time their technology would be redundant.
