I'm glad you posted that article.

My paternal Grandmother was a good friend of Henry Jackson. In a way, I was always ashamed to admit that she was a democrat, but in the last few years I've taken an interest in reading about Scoop Jackson and that period in history.

What I failed to do was take his generation, and what they faced during those dangerous times, into consideration before passing judgement.

Live and learn.

Democrat meant something different then.
