*Global Crossing to provide broadband services interconnecting nine of Microsoft's European hubs.

*Network will support Microsoft's corporate email, Intranet sites and streaming audio and video.

Global Crossing Ltd. (NYSE: GX - news) today announced a two-year contract with Microsoft Corp. to provide broadband services interconnecting nine of Microsoft's European hubs, carrying the company's vital day-to-day business communications among its European locations and the company's corporate headquarters in Redmond, WA.
