IF YOU DON'T TRUST THE INSURANCE COMPANY, THEN WHOM DO YOU TRUST? WHY THEN IS OBAMA ADVOCATING FOR HIS MANDATED INSURANCE----IF ONE CANNOT TRUST THE INSURANCE COMPANY?

About the same time that Obama's mother died of breast cancer in 1995 and was covered by insurance for that; my husband also died of leukemia and was covered by insurance in the 1990's.

Yes he was considered handicapped due to the genetic form of RA before he was diagnosed with the cancer; but he never missed a day of work including his volunteer work for a newspaper------covering parts of Africa-----as well as making a trip to Africa to cover stories.

Nor did he ask for disability insurance. He did not give up until he was forced to do so via a layoff by a major company in D.C. area. They laid off all men----55 and older and no women------- gutting the team of men and scientist working on the FAA system that would have prepared us for 9/11------no thanks to Bill Clinton.

Ultimately, as he could no longer combat the cancer, he died in a major cancer treatment hospital in the USA with he and the doctor hoping for a successful bone marrow transplant after three months of chemo.

He never made it to the step of the bone marrow transplant as his system was not strong enough to fight the effects of the chemo as it reduces the immune system to almost zero. (He took the risk hoping to live for maybe three more years.)

In fact , I met a woman who had been successful via the same protocol who walked into the cancer unit to thank the nurses and doctors; she sparkled.

Our insurance company covered these months with the exception of about $2,000. which I paid. There was no Obamacare interfering with what the doctor , my husband and the hospital wanted to do.

The doctor, my husband and I worked with the insurance company that gave pre-approval ahead of time for the Cancer Hospital and the doctor.

The one question I would ask of Obama is why he did not personally help his mother during that time in the early 1990's when she had the cancer and needed extra help physically and monetarily?

Obama in 1995 was 34 years old and could have helped his mother if she needed help financially. That is what family does.
