Dipy (and Jeff),

Maybe I'm reading your comments incorrectly, but you seem irritated at my posts. I'm not going to disappear, precisely because I find SGI interesting, both in the financial sense, and as somewhat of a connundrum. There are three important issues, two of which are addressed pretty well in this thread, and one which is much rarer:

a.) Technical issue (in the traditional meaning of the word.) SGI makes great products. This is a fundamental strength. This is also well analyzed on this thread, and very useful to the readers.

b.) Technical issue (in the stock market sense.) Puts, calls, TA analysis, "dead cat bounce", Buffet says . . . This is also pretty well analyzed on this thread, and useful to those who use that kind of analysis.

c.) Management issues. As far as I can tell, this is the only explanation for SGI's funny behavior. I bring up my own recent experiences only because no one seems to address this. Ramin (1321) and Eli (1318) are beginning to address these kinds of things, and I do think that they are of interest to me and to other investors.

If group c.) issues can be solved, I should sell my CSCO and invest in SGI. The potential from around 16 is really outstanding.

Regards,

Marc
