The irony is that the resumption of the Iranian nuclear programme comes just weeks after presidential elections that were interpreted in the West as a victory for populism They were? I often like Ferguson's ideas, but this article is a stinker. The elections were rigged, and probably didn't command a majority of the electorate. The election was a victory for voter apathy in a system that is beyond the redemption of a ballot box. Derek
