but those terrorists are now trying to get possession of nuclear material with which to make dirty bombs. Do you not see the critical difference between "trying to get" nuclear material for "dirty bombs" and having on hand, armed and ready at the touch of a button, hundreds/thousands of nuclear warheads? The former is a wish and makes a small boom. The latter is ready to go and makes a boom big enough to knock the earth off its axis. How could a difference be more obvious? He said that we would be destroyed from within Yeah, but he had in mind a different timeline. Nations that aren't conquered will eventually fall because of something internal. But Khrushchev didn't live to see it and none of us on this board will, either.
