Greg, no problem with asking a question.
Obsessed with religion. Definitely not. Obsessed with God? Definitely yes. I consider myself a free spirit filled with the blessings of His spirit. Thats as far as some ever get and that's ok. Its between them and their God as they understand him.

I joy in the fact that I can be a brother to Jesus and a son of God. To me it is a never ending process through the counsel of the Holy Spirit.

On homosexuality. You agree that we should be responsible for our actions. Once we are exposed to the truth and deny it, then it becomes a moral issue within ourselves. Even if we accept your belief that it is not, then you have to admit that it is not something that a sane, normal person would do. It is destructive behavior in that it always brings physical and mental pain. Practicing this way of life is like Russian roulette. Think about the chance of HIV/AIDS?
Not normal to pursue that lifestyle or any other that brings disease.

As for children and crime, it as much a condition of the present society as it is personal abuse of them. Mom and Dad light the fuse and society is the dynamite powder that give their anger a direction.

One last thought. Religion and politics should never be mixed. That is one major reason that I am an Independent. I don't want to be associated with man-made rules.(That's religion.)
All my best,
James
