I think that that's a fair point to make. Though note that the two groups buy/holders vis a vie the daytraders tend to offset each other's effect on the float turnover. Agreed turns in the float don't necessarily mean to me the indicator to trade on the basis of, but it certainly tends to be more confirming than not.

I think that if it really were possible to look through the volume of purchases here that there is an undeniable component of weaker hands trading to stronger hands. This reflects a certain level of uncertainty about the stock.
