I am thinking back to 1980, 1987 and 2000. The technical damage is so severe here I am guessing even if the metals stop here the stocks will continue to drift down farther.

I was shocked that most of the major international stock markets were down 3 to 5% last night. I was totally surprised the DOW did not crash this morning.

I was up late last night and saw all the major mining stocks were down big time.

Volumes are low and when they are low and there has been a big sell off, the mining stocks will tend to drift lower as more sellers than buyers cause a constant downward pressure.

This could continue for a couple of months.

I looked at the yearly lows for guidence of how far any particular stock could fall.
