Dave, censure is simply an official wrist slap - there are *no* negative consequences for the censured person - not even a $50 fine. It would be totally insulting as a "remedy" for the gross abuse of public trust that this unrepentant fraud has perpetrated upon the American people.

The bottom line is what Clinton said back in 1974: For publicly lying to the American people, impeachment is a fair consequence (not exact words, but the critical words were there: "publicly lying to the American people: yes, impeach.")
