My bad. I took another look and sure enough, the data looks genuine.

Still, you can't discount the fact that death rates are significantly lower for those 60 and above who had the vaccine compared to those who didn't.

Also the data could be explained by the fact that most UK residents were vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine, which has a slightly higher chance of blood clots than the mRNA vaccines used here in America.

In fact, Kaiser did just such a study:

The mortality rates for those who took the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine are significantly lower than those who took the J&J vaccine. And the J&J vaccine has more in common with the AstraZeneca vaccine than with the mRNA vaccines.
