Your overall picture is correct - but wrong in one detail. Symantec's NT Norton contain essentially only one useful tool - an anti-virus product. Personally, I am cautiously optimistic on the company and have bought at recent lows. I think they have several strong franchises - including the best JAVA development IDE - and will probably turn it around
