AR, your posts are starting to irritate me. I just reviewed all of the earlier correspondence re: AGTI and I see that you have been active for several months. You seem to have time and expertise for ferreting out information regarding SEC filings and so forth, but your attitude about this stock waffles. It sounds like classic sour grapes to me.
If you really do have valuable information, then I appreciate your contributions. But if you only wish to whine, then why don't you do it somewhere else? For the benefit of others who, like me, may be new to this thread, I offer the following pearls from you:
<As a long term investment I firmly believe that electronic bingo has a great future. And I do think that someday AGTI will benifit from it. But until I see REAL EARNINGS GROWTH I believe the money is being made trading this stock. For many years I sat and held. Now I hold and trade. And I no longer fall for the hype trades.>
What kind of ridiculous answer is this? If you hate the company, but love the industry, then why not select one of the competitors you addressed in an earlier post?
<if the GREAT NEWS is true then why is the company leaking it out to some investors but not others.....>
I have not read anyone say that the company leaked the information to anyone. The leak could have come from anyone...from a potential customer, from Sega, from bar room chatter, etc. You know as well as I do that, if some announcement is truly in the works, AGTI management can't leak the news to anyone. To do so would be a serious SEC violation.
<MGAM just went from 5.50 to 9.50 in about a week on earnings growth. AGTI should be next. We should hear about more sales real soon, plus SEGA should start beta testing by end of the month. ...Also, if you look at the chart of AGTI, it made a great base and is now moving up through resistance. I think (and hope) that this company should start to go...>
This post from you is only a few months old. What a difference a day makes.
Sorry, AR, but with your latest post I am in no mood for sarcasm or "I told you so's". I suspect I have a lot more at stake in AGTI's success or failure than do you. I do think that some major news is going to be released on a near term basis, but neither you nor I will know until the day of release. That's the way the game works, so either deal with it or bail out.
As skilled as you may be at ferreting, I don't think you have a very deep insight into the human side of investing. It's not always that scientific or quantitative, but often emotional and illogical. Just look at the ups and downs of the hard drive industry over the last few weeks, based on news from either WDC (good) or SEG (bad). If AGTI releases news on some positive bias, then I think we can all make money based on that emotional level of investing. I suggest you follow your own advice and play the shorts. |
