Thank you Mr. Bliley! Bloomberg is reporting that Sen. Bliley (R-Virginia), "said the proposed tobacco legislation moving through the Senate is 'on life support' and that four House committees will soon begin drafting their own measure, the Washington Post reported."

Bliley said that the McCain bill "raises first amendment issues of 'free speech' regarding tobacco advertising and unfairly holds companies responsible for underage smoking, the paper said."

He also "threatened tobacco lawyers that he would press contempt charges against the companies if they did not 'immediately' release the documents requested by Congress and U.S. courts." according to the story.

Excellent news! And the buying has begun, an 845,000 share (I think it was 845) block traded sending the stock up 7/8 at the opening bell!

Long on MO!
