AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIES, INC. (OTC - EDII) UP AND COMING STAR. EDII previously announced the acquisition of Cinema Research Corporation. We checked with Cinema's management. The closing of this acquisition will take place shortly. The company is the oldest and the most respected in its field, and Pacific Title, Cinema's only competitor, was recently acquired by the Mirage Corporation for $39 million. We understand that Pacific Title is not much larger in gross revenues than Cinema. Cinema Research is the company that did the credits for the movies "Zorro", "Titanic", "Independence Day" as well as many of the special digital effects for many of the latest blockbusters.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary, D/Rez, Cinema Research is into the production of the most advanced special digital effects which is the latest technology used in most future movies.

We also found out that there are extensive plans for the development and marketing of "High Vision" High Definition Television (HDTV) which Cinema Research is a pioneer in this field.

In addition, we found out that once EDII becomes the owner of 100% of the shares outstanding of Cinema Research, then, Cinema Research will have the liquidity (publicly trading shares of EDII and cash) which will facilitate potential acquisitions and expansion in this exciting field.

Cinema Research is a perfect candidate for the "spin-off" plan of EDII. The field is exciting, dynamic and the shareholders will benefit greatly from the value created by EDII through this special dividend.
