PCLN--in defense of tom, you BAM, you appear very defensive about pcln's valuation...

let's get a few things straight...

blodgett called pcln a CORE holding weeks ago...so whoever thinks this phrase is new or will move the stock much from here, you need to follow these analysts every day...you can't just wake up one day and hear blodgett and not realize he has been saying 'core holding' ever since the secondary suck-up began...

hey BAM...do you have any experience in investment banking??
do you understand the role of the sell side analyst??
read my past posts about the sell side...then read what the editors of the RB said about pcln...they echoed my thoughts about what blodgett et al are doing...you seem intelligent but you also show some scary signs of lemming defensiveness yourself...

once more and for the record, blodgett, meeker and benjamin exist for one reason-to sell stock to the lemmings...they are currently in suck-up mode for the secondary which is already being discussed...yep, pcln might pull a cpth and announce a secondary less than 180 days after their ipo...this is disgusting...truly disgusting corporate behavior...i discussed the sell side in great depth in an earlier posts...i was a sell side analyst and banker for alex brown so i speak from experience on the sell...

as tom said, expiring inventories are easy to sell...

and BAM, did you read Robert Crandall's thoughts on pcln as reported by bloomberg last week??

crandall is the former chairman of AMR...

good luck to all,
