Check out Leviticus. God goes into a lot of detail on how to treat slaves, beat slaves, and kill slaves.

Obviously God thinks slavery is a good thing.

Then, after a long list of what can and cannot be eaten (ostrich is out -- crickets are in) he goes on to other minutae and drivel.

Guess he had to make himself a despotic "king" because no rational lifeform would vote him into office. . . especially not an eternal one!!
