<<Could you be more specific as to what you're seeing out there?

We always seem to have some kind of economic turmoil somewhere around the world.. But I don't see anything yet, except a major oil disruption, that would put the total kabosh on the potential for expanded economic growth around the world.>>>

Cannot say specifically yet what might come up - needs more thought. Some areas of concern....

Failure of government programs.

All the rules and regulations we count on for security and stability - they need revision.

The blackout on the East coast: Safety devices disconnected, employees not following rules( which were impossible to follow anyway), disregard for effects on fellows down the line.

The Bofal chemical plant fire that killed thousands and injured 150,000.

Energy companies nearly sending California into bankrupsy.

Endless tobacco and asbestos suits which are making lawyers rich and taxpayers poorer.

The SEC and loan guarantees: We went through that once, back in the 70's or 80's. And banks got sold for pennies on the dollar, with taxpayers footing the bills.

Then came Enron, with the CEO creating 2500 corporations to set up a pyramid scheme. ??? Did nobody notice that at all?

Billions missing from the UN accounts for Iraq.

Take a look at NT -despite all the recent investigations of corporate fraud, did they learn or change their activities ?.

I stopped counting the recent lawsuits against NT when they got over ten,and there are more coming each day.

Now buy a car, get $1000 cash back. Credit when you are not credit-worthy. And honest people who pay their bills are charged for those who dont.

The most ridiculous or inefficient idea of all was to not let the FBI and CIA share their information.

Now maybe I can worry up some other things to worry about, but thats all for today
