To me an un-emotional evaluation of the use of "partisanship" is simply dumb.

1. A fervent, sometimes militant supporter or proponent of a party, cause, faction, person, or idea.

To me by definition Partisan Politics is about emotion.

And I reject the idea all are biased and thus not capable of making impartial judgments.

non-partisanship is a virtue. I believe it is dumb to suggest otherwise.

partisanship is about ignorance and personal dishonesty.
