Commission members have disputed that, saying that they do not recall hearing Mr. Atta's name during the briefing

Shaffer this morning on local philly radio said he will give the commission the benefit of doubt that Atta's may not have been mentioned. he said he was informed about commission meeting and he put together bullets for talking points (a copy of these talking point bullets he still retains from the presentation). he said he did tell as one of the talking points the known where abouts of two Al Q cells (he says including Atta) out of the three cells (in u.s.? didn't catch hearing what he said)... Shaffer then added the executive director (didn't catch name) called him back after presentation wanting to discuss further and when he came back to states he wanted to meet with him. Upon return to the states he tried twice to get in contract with 911 executive director only to be told they were going to print by one staff member and other said he was no longer needed.

Shaffer stated.."also more comments about 911 staff going to be published.

could very well be military blocked it. but it appears commission was putting together recommendations and shut down any more information that could be helpful to them.
