She signed the same-sex benefits under protest, and supported the constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. I hardly think Gay Rights groups are gonna say she is pro gay rights.

She plans to create a group of advisors on climate change, but advocates drilling in ANWR and resists the Bush administrations Dept of the Interiors call to place the polar bear on the endangered list. I hardly think environmental groups are gonna say she's pro environment.

She lives in a state that derives budget surpluses from oil companies, and rebates to Alaskans to offset today's energy price spikes. As I said, she supports Big Oil's desire to drill in ANWR. I hardly think that anti Big Oil advocates see her on their side.

She is anti-choice, which is good for the base that McCain has run after so hard.

Here's a little ditty on her 'leadership skills', from Wikipedia:

When on June 6, 2007, the Alaska Creamery Board recommended closing Matanuska Maid Dairy, an unprofitable state-owned business, Palin objected, citing concern for the impact on dairy farmers and the fact that the dairy had just received $600,000 in state money. When Palin realized that the Board of Agriculture and Conservation appoints Creamery Board members, she simply replaced the entire membership of the Board of Agriculture and Conservation.[19][61] The new board, led by businesswoman Kristan Cole, reversed the decision to close the dairy.[61] The new board approved milk price increases offered by the dairy in an attempt to control fiscal losses, even though milk from Washington was already offered in Alaskan stores at lower prices.[62] In the end, the dairy was forced to close, and the state tried to sell the assets to pay off its debts but received no bids

Heck, she screwed up the closing of a dairy farm? This is the kind of leadership you're so excited about?
