Bill,
Lets not downplay significance of the Japanese PM. When has
anyone heard of a Japanese business person speak "off the cuff"
They probably thought about this position statement and drafted it
during 2-3 months. This was not a casual comment. It will
give Greenie every justification needed to raise rates soon
in order to support the USD.
