Australia has maybe enough water for 50 million more people, not 150 million. Outside of about 15% of the area in the North of Australia which is wet, and the already populated East coast, Oz is desert, desert, desert. Looks just like Nevada, except there's about 20% on the Western side whihc looks worse. That part looks worse than the bottom of Death Valley in the US, and possibly worse than the dry northern part of Chile.
Canada could maybe do another 10 million in BC, because it is somewhat temperate, and maybe 10 million in the rest of Canada, but the people would have to be okay with the cold.
The US could actually double from 300 million and be okay, provided many of them went to three areas: Oregon, Washington, and Northern California, the deep South states except Florida - South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas.
I expect Argentina could take some also.
And let's not forget Siberia, Land of the Future !
By the way, an Australia with even 40 million more people would have as many as France...might even develop their own nuclear force, foreign policy, and attitudes.
Also, are you sure you want a 600 million population USA around ? That would be almost 10% of the world's population. We could have a military budget 33% higher and still balance the budget.
That would buy lots of neat miltary toys.
Of course, that many people might need some "living room" (Lebensarum ?) Where cold we find this ? Hey ! Lots of room in Canada, and Brazil ! And Brazil has warm beaches !
