More news on what looks like a good deal for LSI:

Chip maker LSI Logic Corp. (LSI) gained 3/16 to close at 23-5/16 after it agreed to purchase Hyundai Electronics America's Symbios server products unit for $760 million in cash and liabilities. The deal is $15 million below a prior bid from PC card maker Adaptec (ADPT) which ended its pursuit of the company last week.
