I think I must have told you all that I am technologically challenged.

In any event, you said: "hold your mouse pointer over the link to the user's name." By that, I presumed you meant to hold the pointer (which turns into a hand with an extended index finger) over your name, as it appears in blue underlined letters after the word "From." Zippo. Rien. Nada. I looked to the left, to the right, up and down, but no little user numbers anywhere.

I don't know what you mean by a "status" bar. I have a Navigation Toolbar; a Personal Toolbar; and a Location Toolbar. Nothing about "status" there. And the "bottom of the browser"? Top of page, bottom of page, what, where? <gg>

Darndest thing! SI has such a neat feature, but has buried it so that you would never even suspect it existed, or find it even if you knew it did! That is, if you are a non-techie! Don't let the "Silicon Investor" title deceive you into thinking that SI subscribers all work in Silicon Valley! :-)
