John... Apparently it's web-bound.
The flyer I got in the mail from CORE COMMUNICATIONS GROUP, INC. states that Imark (NASDAQ: MAXX) "has pioneered a group of innovative services that enable information providers to meter and bill for digital content on the internet. Today Imark is the only company that offers secure information metering and billing on a service basis..." Imark's CEO is quoted, " ..We expect to be the premier provider of information commerce services."
The junk mailing states, "Imark provides publishers of professional, reference and technical information with an array of metering, billing and server-push capabilities to market their products securely on the Internet. Eventually, Imark could be to information commerce what ADP is to payroll processing. The Company's innovative service is based on its award-winning NET-MAX group of elegant service solutions. The NET-MAX solutions are fully scaleable, and currently can execute up to 12 million transactions per month."
I guess they figure by paltering on about the Company's wares the Company will win some more "awards" and market share too. (It's the "American Way." It's advertising. It's business as usual) Seems to be working.. their stock trades at $1.75.
The people at Core Communications Group and Imark have never heard of Wave Systems, I guess. According to my junk mail, Imark is the silver bullet for transactions related to the tracking, use, access, and redistribution of digital data. Imark seems to have all the same business objectives as Wave Systems.
but not the CHIP...
Sincerely yours, Marty |
