Xilinx beat Altera in a key respect; i.e. "Roelandts expects low single digit sequential sales growth for the Sept Q"

This was also encouraging:
"XLNX will benefit vis a vis ALTR in the second half of this year because their new products will ramp up at the same time ALTR's are peaking out. "

Thanks for the comments From your analysis, it looks like now (or soon) is a good time to accumulate shares for a strong Q4.
