How beautiful. Man I would have paid to see something like that.

I was elk hunting in CO with my brother and friends. We were driving up the mountain to our next spot when a gal jumps out on road next to this pull off waving her arms about the big bull standing on the hillside. Of course everyone bails with their guns and some of the folks line up to take a shot. I am looking at this elk through my scope when I realize this just ain't right. Big royal maybe 100 yards off the road and not running with all of this commotion. I yell at Dave to not shoot just as he touch's one off and of course the thing is a fake. Wardens descend out of the hill and surround us of course and really start doing their prick routine. This gal is all over me because I don't have an elk license and group hunting in CO is not legal. I keep calmly trying to explain to her that I did not shoot and in fact I never chambered a round. Finally I call her a dumb bitch and all hell just about breaks loose. They finally ask me to put my rifle in the truck, I had it on my shoulder on the sling. I told them that was the smartest thing they had said since the start of our meeting. When the young loud mouthed prick asked why that was I told him if I was going to entrap people and then act like the worlds biggest asshole I wouldn't want people to have guns in their hands either.

I was a big hit with them:) Even bigger since I had done nothing illegal and they couldn't write me a ticket. Even bigger yet when I refused to leave the turn off area so they could continue their day. Sat there for 2 hours eating sandwich's and shooting the breeze:)
