"Being stupid and boring, I was unable to enjoy the program." Funny! I had a teacher who would respond to a non sequitur with "Do you walk to school or carry your lunch?" One of the best ways to get to be a better writer is to write publicly on a board like this. I credit SI with making me a much better writer over the last four or five years that I've been doing it. You find out almost immediately when you've written something that could be misunderstood. I think I've gotten into more flame wars from the unintentional expression of a view that I didn't hold than from correctly expressing the ones that I do.
