The good news is:

Bombing in Iraq over for now. President impeached: so what?
Looks like the case will drag out in Senate, and unclear whether
the Senate can get the 67 votes to impeach, which will involve
bipartisanship on the part of the dems (democrat Senators may not
be in a bipartisan mood after the republican house lynch mob was
through). And if they do impeach, we get Gore, what's the difference?

Iraq bombing (although incredibly tragic because of the loss
of life), seems to have been a success. From the news conference
I saw, we leveled lots of Saddam's military capability with smart bombs that can go through the specific window or air ventilation
vent of the specific building.

After New Years, we get Microsoft vs. DOJ again, this time MSFT on
the offense, and armed with documents RE: netscape/AOL merger, and
a kinder, gentler Judge Jackson. :-)

Lots of money going into the market January pension funds I hear so
much about. Lookin good to me. Maybe won't have to take those tax
gains on Microsoft Jan options till fiscal 1999!
