OT - RE: "AD, are you still adding stock, or stocks, to the portfolio, or is it pretty much finished and just waiting for the upturn?"

RtS, I'm about half way through my reallocation plan, so I still have plenty of LT buys waiting in the wings. I've been impatient and have moved a little faster with the purchases than I had originally planned. It's just so darn difficult for me to hold back after having made a firm decision to up my equity weighting! As far as timing additional plays, I should probably wait until I feel totally confident that the upturn has begun, but I suspect that I'll be all in long before that happens. The reality is that I'll likely play it by ear going forward.

As I mentioned earlier, one scenario I'm preparing for is the possibility of a major market dive due to a world event and/or capitulation. While I've diverted trading profits into LT investments, I continue to have my trading account funds available to work with (currently 100% cash). I might consider a fast move into the market to try and capture a spike drop by buyin' some ETFs, and then when things settle down, sell those off and replace them with LT stock selections that make sense at the time. That would allow me to have some fun tradin' (and hopefully profitin' from) a crazy drop, and would also buy some time to research specific stock additions.
