<<Of course, given that the "media" has this occasional bad habit of following the news in the conventional sense of the word instead of just regurgitating White House press releases like they oughta (ref: #reply-20145236 ) I fear you may be subjected to more unpleasant coverage in days and weeks to come. Or maybe they'll come to their senses and tell us all what a nice place to be Iraq is these days, who can say?>>>

I could say Iraq must have been one of the most peaceful, civilized, and religious countries on earth before we got there.

Whenever we shoot or drop a bomb it lands on a wedding party, a mosque, a schoolyard full of kids, a car full of innocent civilians going to church, or a hospital.

Whenever they kill somebody in self defense it turns out to be the head of the local UN or their people, the Red Cross, the President of the IGC or one of its members, or an Iraqi policeman that wants to have a government. Along with our soldiers.
