Ah. We return to Mark's question, don't we? Why so much interest in people for whom you presumably feel no affinity?

You'll remember that J. Edgar Hoover spent a great deal of time investigating the (often homosexual) proclivities of people he didn't like. He also enjoyed cross dressing, and had a 40-year relationship with Clyde Tolson, whom he also named his second-in-command at the FBI.
