Lots of Lists
When LastShadow started this thread, I decided to become a somewhat active participant, by developing some "study" lists. One was a list I had started in the early summer of "steady" stocks, I have since dropped this list. A second list I developed, based on the drop in the market in August, was a list of stocks above 200 dma support. I have added and deleted from this list over the past two months, and it has dwindled considerably. I am inclined to drop this list, which includes the utility stocks that we have had some interesting discussions about. If enough of you really care about this list, I'll keep it, but my feeling is that it really isn't of much use at this point.
At this time, I would just like to keep a watch list going, I will post it as often as time permits. Also, I'll follow for a while how these zigs and zags work out.
To clarify a point raised privately, when I drop a ticker from a watch list, it is basically because it seems to be going nowhere. I haven't watched closely enough to see if this means that the ticker may be a short candidate, it just means that I don't see any substantial gain coming on.
I'm glad to be a part of this thread along with LastShadow, who is kind enough to help us learn to be better technical analysts, and all the other posters who contribute. I think that I'm becoming a better technical analyst, but now I need to improve the trading.
Hope you all have a successful week, and as others have said, always be careful out there.
