Christian, do you know of any applications that show off the Octane? demos don't count. Hopefully with Alias/Wavefront now reporting directly to Ed, they'll get their code to run faster on the Octane than on the I2 R10K. and does anyone know if the recently announced one year delay of Maya led to the scrutny that Ed is placing them under? hopefully with the clowns gone, marketing will let those who want to build the fastest graphics boxes possible in every class from entry to super, now that it's all one systems division. never again should they cripple the graphics of a desktop machine cause it might beat a deskside or tower sale. Horray for the unified product org. vincent
