E-Noa's Interpad: The Android Tablet We've All Been Waiting For Posted on Tue, 27 Jul 2010 18:47:09 CDT | by Robert Evans E-Noa's Interpad: The Android Tablet We've All Been Waiting For i4u.com

It has been a disappointing year for Android tablet enthusiasts. We've had to sit idly by and watch our iPad toting compatriots with envy, while delay after delay has fallen upon every promising Android slate. HP, Notion Ink, ICD...they've all failed us. Now Engadget reports that the E-Noa InterPad is the latest in a long line of hope-raising tablets.
The InterPad is due out this holiday season. It has a 10" capacitive touchscreen and a dual-core 1 GHz Tegra 2 T20 chip. It is a half-inch thick and has 1 GB of DDR2 RAM. Expect 16 GB of Flash storage, b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0, HDMI-out, and a 3900 mAH battery that should get you 8-12 hours of working battery life.
Dropping a little extra scratch will buy you Android 2.2, GPS, a camera and a 3G module. Without all the goodies, it is around $500. With goodies, it will be around $650. If true (and if the hardware works as well as we hope) this slate could be the answer to our Android prayers. |
