State medical groups & doctors join in suit against insurers..03/27/2001 The st medical associations of CA, GA & TX joined individual doctors from 7 states in a fed lawsuit alleging 8 insurers including Aetna & Cigna of engaging in a "pattern of racketeering activity" to deny necessary medical care. New York Times, Milt Freudenheim God Bless these courageous doctors and the trial lawyers who represent them. We are all safer because of their efforts.
