Morning Paul

Thanks for the response.

No I haven't taught any children in school, so no experience there to rely on. I have dealt with a lot of child support cases and custody cases while working as a probation/parole officer. That was usually through cases directly affecting the offenders I was supervising.

I have often thought about what needs to be done to stop this cycle. Could do as they do in the Philippines, I guess, which is to tie off the tubes of any woman giving birth to more than one child, if not married to the father. I'm sure that would go over here like a lead balloon. So the bottom line is, I don't have a workable solution.

It is impossible to legislate morals. Circumstances which might bring on a change of morals can be legislated. Again, though, such changes would not be accepted here.

So by declaring that a woman has all the 'rights' concerning their bodies, as we have done, we have set the stage for such problems. Until women, and men, decide they will not create a child they don't truly want to raise, this will continue. A 'limit' of two children as the max one woman could have on "ADC" might help, but again, I don't know that. And that would undoubtedly cause some deserving families from receiving the help they need.
