I think your right. Also wherever it is it is not a CPU for PCs. PRobably some sort of communications chip. TRW has never even moved slightly in the direction of hinting that they might produce CPUs and they have no fab capacity. There biggest business is probably automotive parts or aerospace (aircraft parts, satelites), they also do technical services/support/training and they make big lasers (the types that destroy things rather then ones that play CDs). They have invested in a lot of smaller companies and are in a number of businesses but until the CEOs statement in the webcast I'venever heard of them doing any chip design (although they have stakes in companies they do). I don't think they compete with AMD in any area. They do have a contract with AMD in Dresden, and I have set up some remote access accounts for the people in Dresden but I don't know exactly what TRW does for AMD.
