Surely you are not arguing that the Koran dictates honor killings? Or that Sharia law dictates honor killings? I don't think either specifically dictate honor killings, but that is not the same as saying that they are not in practice condoned by fundamentalists. They are, a fact which is easy to prove. The nutball Palestinians are famous for them, Koran or Sharia and religious piety notwithstanding. It's hard to imagine that we live in the same world, one in which the NYT's Sunday Styles section proudly announces same sex weddings while other parts of the same paper report on the latest stoning of an allegedly adulterous woman in Saudi Arabia. World gone mad.
