Hi Wiz, thank you. Now you are talking and get what I have been saying over months now, no matter what the market did in spite. We are the leading markets now unless we give it all away. When I was kidding around yesterday about it not being a big deal that the Nikkei was down because their PM was not going to pull their banks out, because we would be more than willing to do it for them. I was not that far off. One of those smart guys was on NBR tonight and said that we should stand behind the IMF IF KOREA WAS GOING TO ASK FOR HELP. Get it, US. Not everybody but US. He must have read my post and mis-read Japan for Korea. He must have thought I was serious. gg.

Now, kidding aside. there must come a time when those countries pull their own weight. I can't remember anybody pulling us out of our troubles when we did bad. Sometimes the cookie jar must stay empty.
Yes, you are right. What I meant to say was that our markets have not reached the highs some of those countries have. Yet they push our markets down with them, even when we have not been at our full potential yet.

Look at the Nikkei tonight. The Japanese PM is evidently giving in and is helping those banks out - their market is up 4 1/2% last time I checked. They were down 5% yesterday and up over 8% the day before. Net net they are up nicely. Nobody seems to be in a panic there. But everytime those markets sneeze, we get a cold. Our analysts don't get it or maybe they do and don't want us to know about it. Comes in handy with the commissions. Our markets should lead big time not follow measly.

Now they are working on our techs. They could be slowing down. Slowing down to what? There will be still enough profits in the future. Analysts think techs are going to have their heads in the sand and consumers and businesses also. Tech is the future of the world.

I guess you can tell that I am peeved. gg. Dow was up over 100 points at one point and the techs did not move. Maybe tomorrow we will find out that techs are in again? Right now we are told the drugs are leading, not techs. What else is new? Drugs have always been good. People don't get younger but they are trying. gg. Why does one thing have to lead? Techs, drugs. telecomm., financials etc. can all lead into the 21st century.

Sonny
