IPM IMPRESSIONS

These are just some of my thoughts and feelings after the AGM and the FIELD TRIP. I will post more later as I am on the road and unable to get near a computer until Friday. I've heard that there have been a number of good posts and would like to read these before I post additional material.

AGM (June 20)

Overall, the meeting was low key. Management presented data as if it was run of the mill material, but IMO was very significant (eg fire assay procedure). This makes me believe that we will see a series of big numbers and further progress in the near term. The management's focus is to make IPM into a major mining house rather than stock promotion. They are achieving this goal through their business-like and scientific approach.

BLACK ROCK FIELD TRIP (June 21)

As we drove up to the property the first thing that struck me was the shear size. This property is huge. One slide presented at the AGM regarding the model for this property makes me believe that this is only the tip of the ice berg (I will post more on this Fri, Sat or Sun).

The field trip included five stops. I had a chance to ask Tom Dodge (IPMs head geologist) numerous questions at each stop. His systematic approach to this project has greatly impressed me. I get the feeling that he knows much more than IPM have said to date. I look to Tom to provide IPM with an array of success on the geologic fronts.

Goodyear Warehouse. This facility included the portable lab, a large archive of samples, a sample prep area and equipment, 4 or 8 (?) ovens among other lab equipment. Their were 4 or 5 people working at the warehouse; two in the portable lab and several in the sample prep area. (Note this was Saturday!)

IPM offices. This was the first occasion I had to speak at length with Dr. Sam Shaw. I was totally impressed with his level of experience and intelligence. We discussed numerous technical issues at which time it became apparent that I could not even scratch the surface of his data bank of knowledge. I now see why IPM went after Dr. Shaw.

CONCLUSION

I am so pleased that I went to PHX to meet all the players at IPM. Seeing the property, their management and technical capabilities I now feel confident that we are on the verge of something much bigger than I initial thought. I now feel that it's only a short period of time before a series of successes are announced. Over this next while we will see this junior explorer evolve into a highly profitable mining house. IMO this company will have the largest precious metal deposit ever.
