I agree. My neighbor is a director of Smith Barney et al and he says that he will not invest in any stock not recommended by Dorsey. He was buying a report that cost him several thousand dollars and he loaned me a copy for evaluation. I tracked Dorsey's recommendations for a few months and they went no where. So I wrote him off as not being worth the money. Also, I decided never to take my neighbors investment advice. It seems he is better at managing people than he is at investments. I do like the concept behind point and figure charting but it is not a sufficient basis for an investment decision IMO.
