That's generally true but ignores megalomania. The powerful bossy types need their kicks which they get in a different way from what the opium and fentanyl users like to float around on.

Such lust for power over other people is an even worse drug than fentanyl which is an introspective pleasure.

I give you the biggest war games since God knows when in Norway. Norway?!! What?

So I got my trusty geopolitical maps into gear which these days include easy-zoom down to cars on the roads, via Cyberspace.

Sure enough, the plan is to repeat the 1812 Overture, Charge of the Light Brigade, WWI and Barbarossa. From Norway the Yanks can drive their tanks to Murmansk. Yanks, Tanks, Murmansk. What could be better as a rhyming conquest slogan.

Meanwhile a pincer attack from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania heading for Moscow.

With a bonus swoop to Moscow from Ukraine.

Not to mention marine deployments for a much more effective Charge of the Heavy Machinery into Crimea.

Mopping up of Russians in Syria. Target practise on Russian ships and aircraft here and there. Some military base clearance in Vladivostok.

Looks like a cakewalk plan.

Unfortunately, Russians have experienced such megalomania in bygone times. They will get MAD as in mutual assured destruction.

While the Kursk sank, other submarines didn't. Russia has mirvs galore too. Not to mention some bear bombers.

Russia will rapidly escalate with asymmetric actions. So novichok and polonium 210 deployments which have been demonstrated will be used behind enemy lines to keep dead ratios proportionate as in Yank tanks in Murmansk will be matched with polonium 210 in San Diego's water supply to Camp Pendleton and Novichok on doorknobs in Washington.

In preparation for regular firepower, Russia has installed some rocketry in Kaliningrad in response to NATO deployments on the Russian border.

With only a week or so to the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month which would be an excellent time for a surprise attack, we should batten the hatches. Megalomaniacs LIKE wars and attacking. It's better than opium and fentanyl with cocaine for dessert.

They do need the working hordes but they really really want to show they are the top dog.

Yanks, tanks, Murmansk.

China will of course "help" Russia by moving the Genghis Divisions west to Poland and Crimea and the Danube. Unfortunately the Yanks don't understand that they should be getting along with Russia and helping to keep Siberia belt and roaded to Euroserfstan.
