Your kidding yourself.....there is no such thing as a bullet-proof crime area anymore. There are holdups in the most affluent neighborhoods as well as the poor ones. Its becoming common in the larger metro areas and the phenomenon is migrating down to the smaller ones like every other trend.

No Ted, I am not kidding myself. There is no such thing as a bullet proof, or crime proof area but I never said there was. I said I lived in a low crime area. That means there is less crime then in most areas with the same population not that there is no crime. I also said I am unlikely to be shot at. This idea is supported both by crime statistics and by the fact that I can't think of any case of anyone I know ever being shot at, except for people who served in combat. I didn't say it is almost impossible that I will be shot at, I just said it is unlikely.

So don't be surprised if you see a gun fight in the not too distant future....and then you will begin to realize the true cost of your NRA membership.

If I start to get shot at regularly (somthing which is very unlikely and doesn't even happen to most people in high crime areas) then I will get a gun and be glad that the NRA protected my rights in this matter.
